Taking photos of ballot?
BY: Julianne Pepitone
Many people are taking pictures of their ballots and sharing them on social media websites like twitter and Facebook. Some states don't allow for the ballots to be shared. Even though unlikely you could be prosecuted.
I view this issue as it shouldn't matter. If someone shows who they voted for online what should it matter? Then again you don't have to prove who you voted for. If you say you voted I'm sure no ones gonna think your lying or argue with you.
This affects me because it's on my Social networking feed and people I know could be doing it. This impacts the united states in many ways, even the world. These states could change the law or reenforce it more.
