I can’t
believe a month has come and gone! This week has gone by quite fast. That’s
good though! Weekends are always great. Anyways, this week in Intro to Pub., we
learned about many things. One thing we learned about was Animoto. This is a
website where you can make a video out of pictures. It also makes the
background and transitions for you. I think it’s pretty awesome tool to use and
have. It’s also very easy to use.
Here’s the
link to my Animoto we
made in class.
We also
started doing sentences for homework. Also, we learned how to diagram them too.
I don’t particularly like to diagram sentences, because it doesn’t really help
me.
We also
learned some new terms like;
Privacy- Don’t reveals other people’s information
online.
Self-Expression and Identity- Present your-self
in an honest and genuine way online.
Connected culture- Treat others kindly.
Respecting Creative Work- Giving credits to
others or asking permission for their work...
Ethics- A set of principles and behavior
that governs peoples' behavior
Online Ethics- A set of principles and
morals that govern peoples' behavior online.
Digital citizenship- Safe, responsible, and
ethical approach to functioning the digital world.
These terms
and lessons have helped me to be a better and a more respectful person online.
Honestly, I love anyway I can do to better myself as a person, online and off.
Also I think that the bullying part is so important to teenagers. Let’s be
frank, teenagers are mean and cruel. Plain and simple and they are especially online.
They think that just because it’s on the internet that it doesn’t hurt, well it
does.
The
respecting other’s belief and cultures, religions are also so very important.
Most wars in this world are cause because of another’s ways of life. I find this
to be sick because we are all human. We all deserve respect.

Mostly this has been a great week. I love this school; no drama is the main reason. I’m looking forward to what we’ll be doing next week.
