Fifth Week

This week here at GECHS has been a typical week. Its school so of course it's going to be boring. Anyways here's what we did this week.

This week we took a test called the loop test. It had a hundred questions and I bummed it. We had a chance to make corrections for half a point each. We also took a Phishing Test; Phishing is like stealing information online. They can steal your money, or your identity. So basically don't give out your information. You can tell by the fake URLs.

Some new terms we learned were like Reputation. Everyone know what your reputation is right? This one is the online one. If you don't know what a Reputation is it's a general impression held by others. Persist is another term we learned about. It means to continue on and endure. Context is different factors that surround information that helps determine its meanings. A tag is a word(s) or term(s) that describe a photo or video.

A web2.O tool we learned about is image editing. Editing is just well, editing. Some good things about image editing are that you can make a picture better. A negative aspect is that it can make a bad impression. You could just be joking about a caption, and it be taken the wrong way.
We also got our digital driver’s license. If you are wondering what that is it’s a test where you answer questions to see if you are a good online citizen. This affects me because it’s shown we the right and wrong way to be online.

Overall my week has been pretty good, here at school. My publications grade is going up. Slowly but surely. I'm very excited for next week. I know it's going to be great.

  1. Hey, Hunter. Great post!
But as peer editing you have a few minor mistakes:
in the sentence: 'This week here at GECHS has been a typical week. Its school so of course it's going to be boring. Anyways here's what we did this week.'

'If you don't know what a Reputation is it's'
after 'it's' there should be a ':' since you're listing what the definition of reputation is.

    'Its' should be 'it's'

'We also took a Phishing Test; Phishing is like stealing information online.'

instead of using the ';' after Test, use ':'

and instead of putting all of the terms in the same paragraph, I'd seperate them, with bullet points, or completely different paragraphs them selves.

Other than that, I believe that you did a good job!
